FMG Track and Bridge Alliance

Location: Port Headland to Newman, Western Australia.

Overview: TC Surveys engaged by Laing O’Rourke as survey managers for the construction of 8 rail bridges on the new FMG rail line between Port Headland and Newman.

Description: Laing O’Rourke secured the $50 million contract for the construction of 8 rail bridges between Port Headland and Newman on the new FMG rail line, including construction of an Overpass across the BHP rail alignment.

The project was completed in 2007.
